

RL Grime will be heading down under this Summer and is dropping a brand new album later this year. Grimes continued touring through the summer of 2016. With two EP’s and a world tour under his belt, 2014 looks to be RL Grime’s brightest year to date, continuing to refine his sound and further pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a producer in the 21st century. Hopefully this keeps you contained on the spooky tunes front until the inevitable release of his 2017 mix. In the spring of 2016, Grimes toured Asia and Europe with supporting act Hana on the Acd Reign Tour. Since its creation in February, Sable Valley has hosted ground-breaking releases and mixes by rising acts like Jackal, JAWNS, Cozway, and Jon Casey. RL Grime is having one of his best years to date, and much his recent success comes from his newly founded Sable Valley imprint. RL Grime’s work as a remixer has also been met with great acclaim, clocking in official remixes for Benny Benassi, Chief Keef, Jamie Lidell, and Shlohmo – as well as a bootleg of “Mercy” by Kanye West, which has since received over 3 million plays on SoundCloud. RL Grime Announces First-Ever Sable Valley Tour. Sometimes an artist gets surprised by their own tour dates and goes with the flow, but a big booking like this had Doctor P excited to the point of letting some news slip from his e-tongue. In 2013 he released his sophomore EP High Beams on Fools Gold Records, debuting at number 8 on Billboard’s electronic charts. Releasing his debut EP Grapes in April of 2012 on LA’s WEDIDIT imprint, RL took little time in making a name for himself, garnering early support from some of the biggest DJ’s in the world, including Diplo, A-Trak, Skrillex, and Just Blaze.

This is the first official word on his sophomore effort. The Wait Is Over: RL Grime, What So Not And Skrillex Release Waiting Two years in the making, the track nods to each producers signature sound, with lush textures, droning horns, and, of course. Seemingly out of nowhere, 22-year-old Henry Steinway aka RL Grime has risen the ranks to the forefront of what is a new generation genre-fusing artists, setting eyes on exploring the uncharted and reshaping modern music with every new track he makes. RL Grime just announced he has plans to release an album in 2017 in an interview with Triple J.
